Do you work from sittings or photographs?

I can work from either, depending greatly on the subject. I do quite a few memorial portraits and work from a selection of photographs as well as getting an understanding from the commissioner. I like to meet the subject too if possible and can do a photoshoot and initail sketch work from my studio. this is especial relevent for children's portraits as they can be quite restless! However if it is an adult portrait and they can commit their time to a sitting then i always enjoy gettinig to know them as i work.
How much do you charge?

Prices vary depending on the medium, size, number of people in the portrait and the detail. I start from £250 for a single head sketch. Do get in touch for a quote
How long does is it take?

The length of time a work could take depends on the medium, detail, scale and subject. I will give you an idea of the expected completion date when we start, and i am happy to work to special event deadlines eg. Birthdays, Festivals, Anniversary's etc
